Facilities Update

Fremont City Schools is proud that the community along with state funding has allowed us to build new facilities within the last two years. The four new elementary buildings are built on large lots with spacious playgrounds that host safe new playground equipment. They are equipped to facilitate everyday learning along with technology that allows for digital experiences to take place beyond the four walls. Each grade level also has an expanded learning area or studio. The buildings are decorated with cheerful colors and natural light that warms and welcomes the students.

Ross High School is beaming with purple and white pride as you walk through its halls. The high school has learning nooks, an open two-story media center, student-forward classrooms, and a large performing arts center. As with the other buildings, the technology will allow for student learning today and into the future. This coupled with some of the finest athletic facilities in Northwest Ohio makes Ross High School the place to attend.

These new buildings are joining Fremont Middle School which was built in 2011. This being the most senior building is a mere ten years old. The building was designed for the needs of today's and tomorrow's student. Students can take advantage of the pods attached to classrooms and small group rooms created for collaborative work. Every building in the District has top-performing high air quality systems and safety systems.

No matter which building your child attends, Fremont City Schools has worked hard to ensure no detail was left unattended. We will continue to strive toward providing your child with the best educational experience!
